Villa Renovation Project
By constructing a seamless addition, improving the sizes and designs of the windows, and swapping out the traditional paint and materials with sleek, modern ones, the customer aimed to update their old property. Enhancing natural light, fostering an airy atmosphere, and fusing contemporary features with the old building were the objectives.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The villa’s inherent charm is preserved while it is transformed into a chic, contemporary living area. The new addition expands functionality without detracting from the villa’s character because it blends in perfectly with the original building. Large, contemporary glass panels were installed in lieu of the old windows, enhancing the vistas and natural illumination. Modern textures, neutral hues, and sleek finishes were used to update the exterior and interior elements, giving them a refined and classic appearance.
CHALLENGES
One of the main challenges was keeping the property structurally sound while constructing an expansion and changing the window proportions. It was also essential to make sure that the old and new pieces transitioned seamlessly and without visual discontinuity.
SOLUTIONS
To fine-tune design elements and material selections, we employed 3D representations. Building information modeling, or BIM, was essential for structural evaluation, material efficiency optimization, and execution simplification. This guaranteed a smooth transition with perfect modern appeal, increased utility, and improved aesthetics.
