Tea at Terrace
The client envisioned a distinctive tea and coffee shop on a small shopping mall terrace that would provide a chic yet comfortable setting for kids to unwind in while taking in Lahore’s stunning city skyline. The design has to embrace the extended 2m x 30m arrangement while optimizing seating efficiency, aesthetic appeal, and comfort.
PROJECT CONCEPT
With breathtaking city views, Tea at Terrace is a stylish and contemporary outdoor café that was created to elevate the rooftop experience. We created a welcoming ambiance with sleek wooden furniture, cozy ambient lighting, and clever seating arrangements using 3D architecture visualization and external rendering. By using BIM modeling and 3D rendering to create an effective layout without sacrificing comfort, the design skillfully combines contemporary aesthetics with a welcoming café atmosphere. It’s the ideal place for socializing because of the use of glass railings, vertical green walls, and delicate decorative lights that enhance the outdoor atmosphere.
CHALLENGES
Creating a useful and aesthetically pleasing area in the limited 2 m-wide terrace was the main difficulty. It was essential to make sure there was cozy seating, a functional service area, and a weatherproof setup that nevertheless allowed for an unhindered view of the city.
SOLUTIONS
We created a seating arrangement that maximized capacity without feeling crowded by utilizing architectural animations, smart space planning, and 360° panoramic virtual reality tours. Flexibility was made possible with foldable components, modular seating, and lightweight furniture, and the café’s atmosphere was improved by thoughtful lighting and vegetation. In order to achieve a smooth fusion of urban aesthetics and comfortable practicality, every aspect was refined with the use of walkthrough animations and 3D visualizations.
